Theme: "Working to Preserve Cultural Heritage and Tribal Resources"

November is celebrated as Native American Heritage Month. Each year, various programs and activities are planned to highlight the Native American culture. Please view photos from past Native American celebrations.


Catawba Art Exhibit and a Catawba Cultural Drum and Dance Presentation

Native American Celebration This year's Native American Celebration will take place from November 8–14.

The celebration will feature a Catawba Art Exhibit and a Catawba Cultural Drum and Dance presentation.
  • The exhibit will be on display November 8–14 th in the Hendrix Center Multi-Use room.


  • The drum and dance presentation will take place on Thursday, November 11th at noon in the Hendrix Center Plaza. (Rain location: Hendrix Center Ballrooms).
