Parents' CouncilThe Division of Student Affairs encourages all Clemson parents to join the Clemson University Parents' Council. This group of dedicated parents assists the University in significant ways as we strive to meet the educational and developmental needs of our students and address parents' needs for involvement, information and support. The members of Parents' Council make every effort to be well-informed resources for the University, assist in academic recruiting, promote fund-raising efforts for student-related activities and facilities, and offer the parents' perspective to the University. Activities offered by Parents' Council include participation in Summer Orientation programs for parents; regional receptions for newly accepted students and their parents; Hometown recruiting programs, letter writing campaigns to students, and parents' weekend reception and activities. Services offered to our members includes: a subscription to the Clemson World, an official Parents' Council annual calendar, three annual issues of The Clemson Family Press newsletter, networking opportunities with other Clemson parents, VIP invites to campus events, lots of opportunities to be an ambassador for Clemson University, and a campus office dedicated to providing information and referral services. These activities and services offered to parents are made possible through a one-time membership fee of $60 which continues as along as the student who enrolls at the time of your membership remains enrolled as an undergraduate. You would need to re-join as a new member with any additional students.
Please print and complete the form below. Then include your $60 membership fee and mail it to: Parent's Council Membership Form |
